Pedis

The ladies of the house decided to pamper themselves today. Kate, Abby, and Aunt Carla went to get pedicures at our favorite nail salon, US Nails in Sandy.

This was Abby's first pedicure. She was so excited that she couldn't stop smiling! It was so cute!

They washed our feet, buffed them, worked on our cuticles, dipped our feet in hot wax, massaged our legs, put lovely lotion on, painted our toenails... we're probably missing a step here but you get the picture.

Carla's pedicure was done by the salon's owner. He was so friendly and nice!

As if we hadn't already splurged enough, we decided to get flowers painted on our big toes. Abby also got polka dots.

The final result: so pretty!

Abby's shoes are white, Carla's shoes are green, and Kate's shoes (flip flops courtesy of the salon) are orange.

Considering what we have been through over the last few weeks, this was such a lovely treat. Many thanks to Kate's friends Leah, Eric, and Matthew, who sent us money to treat ourselves.
